Nepal has lifted a ban on TikTok that the country's previous government imposed in November last year. The ban was levied on China's ByteDance-owned app for disturbing "social harmony and goodwill". The decision to lift the ban was taken after the app reportedly agreed to regulate its content and cooperate with law agencies to address TikTok-related crime.
