Nepal's tiger population has risen about 20% in the last four years to 429 from 355 in 2022, officials said on Wednesday. The survey conducted between December and July showed that the tiger population has increased by 5% each year. Nepal had become the first out of 12 countries to meet its goal of doubling the tiger population in 2022.
