Appealing to donors for support, the Nepal government has said the country suffered a loss of up to $10 billion in the devastating earthquakes over the last few weeks. The estimated cost of reconstruction is $5 billion, Finance Minister Ram Sharan Mahat said. A fund of $2 billion has been set up for now, he added.
