A 79-year-old man in Chhattisgarh namely Kalicharan Vipta has accused his nephew of getting his death certificate issued in October to encroach upon his land. "They told me that on papers, I died in 1958...I'm alive. They've declared me dead. I want justice," Vipta said. His lawyer said the certificate is fake and it was issued by the panchayat secretary.
