Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu is considering publicly confronting US President Donald Trump over the countries' military presence in Gaza and Lebanon, Al-Monitor reported citing sources close to Netanyahu. The Israeli PM believes that publicly confronting Trump and strongly defending Israel's national security interests ahead of parliament elections could boost the standing of his Likud party.
