Netflix acquired InterPositive, an AI filmmaking startup founded by Ben Affleck, to develop tools for movie and TV production. The deal brings InterPositive's engineering team to Netflix, while Affleck will serve as a senior advisor. Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria emphasised that AI should expand creative freedom, not replace the work of film crews and writers.
