The first coinage bearing the portrait of King Charles III started to appear in circulation in the UK on Thursday. "Today marks a new era for UK coinage, with the effigy of King Charles III appearing on 50 pence coins in circulation. It's a fantastic opportunity for coin collectors," said Rebecca Morgan from the Royal Mint.
