New closing auction session here to stay: SEBI head amid concerns

SEBI Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey said the newly introduced closing auction session (CAS) is "here to stay", but added that the regulator is open to making improvements. He said CAS aligns Indian equities with global benchmarks. Addressing concerns, he said, "Some of the concerns...stem from the fact that certain market players have not updated their own internal systems yet."
