A new atlas of Martian clouds by German Aerospace Center reveals diverse atmospheric phenomena. Despite its thin atmosphere composed primarily of carbon dioxide, Mars can produce striking cloud formations. Using two decades of data, they observed cloud formations influenced by Martian atmospheric disturbances. These include gravity wave clouds, cloud streets, and clouds unlike any seen on Earth.
