Lumberton Township Mayor Gina LaPlaca was arrested for DUI and child endangerment after allegedly driving intoxicated with her two-year-old son. Police tracked her down using eyewitness video showing her vehicle swerving near a utility pole. LaPlaca’s husband confirmed she is battling addiction. She is scheduled to appear in court on April 28 to face multiple charges.
