Technology giant Apple's newly-launched MacBook Pro laptops do not have the iconic backlit company logo on its flap. The laptops have a black Apple logo on the Space Gray model and a white logo on the Silver model. A part of Apple Co-founder Steve Jobs' design philosophy, the company's first notebook with a lit-up Apple logo, was released in 1999.
