In a relief for Bengaluru's Namma Metro Purple and Green lines' commuters facing severe crowding, Titagarh Rail Systems has dispatched first 3 of several new trains, expected to undergo testing before service. With weekday ridership crossing 10 lakh and only 57 trains in operation, officials hope at least 3 new trains running by May-June will reduce congestion for daily passengers.
