A Paris-based research group has come up with an alternate model that claims to explain five of the 'biggest' fundamental problems in physics. The new model, dubbed 'SMASH', proposes six new fundamental particles, and could explain why there is more matter than antimatter, the rapid early phase growth of the universe, and even the nature of 'dark matter'.
