A JP Morgan report highlighted de-dollarization signs in global trade, with energy transactions increasingly priced in non-USD currencies. The report added that emerging payment systems have enabled cross-border deals without the involvement of US banks. The report further said that despite the growing trend of shifting away from the dollar, de-dollarisation "will likely take decades".
