Japanese scientists at Kyoto and Hiroshima Universities have experimentally identified the elusive W state of quantum entanglement. Using a photonic quantum circuit, they achieved entangled measurements for three-photon W states. This breakthrough paves the way for quantum teleportation, multi-photon communication, and measurement-based quantum computing.
