Consumer confidence in India fell in March 2021 "on the back of deteriorating sentiments on general economic situation, income and prices," as per the latest Reserve Bank of India (RBI) survey. The consumer confidence index dipped to 53.1 in March from 55.5 in January, while future expectations fell from 117.1 to 108.8 for the same period amid rising COVID-19 cases.
