The upcoming Akshay Kumar starrer 'Padman' will release on January 26, 2018 on the occasion of Republic Day. Sharing the news on Twitter, Akshay wrote, "Not all superheroes come with capes! Bringing you the true story of a real superhero." The film is based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, the inventor of a low-cost sanitary pad-making machine.
