New study explains why males have greater punching power

A new study has explained that male fighting performance played an evolutionary role and resulted in sexual dimorphism, or physical differences between males and females, of punching power. The researchers ruled out the hypothesis that males' greater upper body strength may have developed for throwing spears and weapons, by finding less pronounced sexual dimorphism in overhead arm pulling force.
