New study shows athletes benefit from afternoon naps

A new study in the Journal of Sleep Research finds that 25 or 90-minute naps ending by 3 pm don't harm night-time sleep in student athletes. Sleep quality and duration stayed the same, showing that well-timed afternoon naps can boost recovery and performance without disrupting regular sleep habits, especially useful during intense training or exams.
