New study shows dietary fibre can help people live longer

A new study in Diabetology & Metabolic Syndrome shows that eating more fibre is linked to lower death risk in USA adults with diabetes or prediabetes. The biggest benefit was seen up to 26g/day, especially for heart health. Researchers say increasing fibre intake could play a key role in future diet guidelines for diabetes care.
