New study shows ice baths don't enhance performance

A new study published in the Scandinavian Journal of Medicine & Science in Sports found that cold water immersion after intense exercise did not improve muscle recovery or next-day performance. Despite being widely used, 10-minute ice baths at 10°C offered no clear benefits compared to room temperature rest.
