New study shows meal timing matters less than calories

A new study published in Nutrition Reviews analyzed 167 trials comparing intermittent fasting (IF) and continuous energy restriction (CER) for weight loss and health outcomes. The results showed that overall calorie reduction had a stronger effect on weight loss than timing alone, with more severe CER consistently outperforming all forms of intermittent fasting.
