New study shows warm-ups might not be necessary

A new study published in SportRxiv found that doing specific warm-up sets before resistance training didn't significantly impact strength, fatigue, or effort in trained lifters. Whether participants did zero, one, or two warm-up sets, performance remained nearly the same, suggesting that warm-ups may not always be essential for experienced gym-goers.
