Israel's Ministry of Health has said that two cases of a new COVID-19 strain have been detected in the country. "Two cases of verified strains of a combined variety of varieties BA1 (Omicron) and BA2 were discovered in the State of Israel. This strain is not yet known in the world," it stated. It added that patients showed mild symptoms.
