New way to fight cancer found by targeting minor splicing: Study

A new study in Australia has revealed that blocking a specialised molecular process called minor splicing can slow tumour growth in liver, lung and stomach cancers. It suppresses the growth of tumours while leaving healthy cells largely unharmed. It is particularly effective for cancers driven by KRAS mutations, the most common genetic changes found in cancer.
