New Year 2026 began on a spiritual note in Karnataka, with devotees thronging temples to seek blessings. Huge crowds were reported at Mysuru's Chamundi Hill, Mangaluru's Kadri Manjunath Temple and Hampi's Tungabhadra shrines. Devotees also offered prayers at Bengaluru's major temples.
