A New York man who served time in prison for his role in a high school shooting and was released in 2020 underwent surgeries to reattach his limbs following a sword attack. Jon Romano was attacked by a sword-wielding person at an Albany homeless shelter in August. Romano had been convicted for a 2004 school shooting in upstate New York.
