A 42-year-old woman from New York, Stacey Taylor, has been charged with smuggling people, primarily Indian nationals, enter US illegally through Canada. She was indicted in October and appeared in court this week. In January, US Border Patrol stopped her car near the Quebec border and found four migrants inside- three Indians and one Canadian, officials said.
