New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani demanded the abolition of the ICE agency, criticising federal agency for its deadly actions. He said, "We know that the fear that so many are living with in Minneapolis...it's a fear that New Yorkers are also living with...fear of being terrorised." His remarks came after ICE agents shot dead Renee Good and Alex Pretti.
