Newly built canal worth ₹2 cr demolished after MLA's hammer test fails in Guj
A newly built canal, constructed at a cost of ₹2 crore in Gujarat's Vanthvali village, was demolished by JCB machines as canal's retaining wall shattered following a single strike by hammer by a local MLA. The MLA visited the site following complaints by farmers who complained about the quality of the construction. The canal will now be rebuilt from scratch.
