A newlywed woman allegedly died by suicide on Sunday, reportedly due to dowry harassment, in Tamil Nadu's Tiruppur district. As part of the dowry, her parents had reportedly given 800 grams of gold and a Volvo car worth ₹70 lakh. However, despite this, she was allegedly harassed by her husband and in-laws, who continued to demand more.
