A CNN news anchor played video of New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani's 2019 rap, in which he was seen wearing an apron, while interviewing him. Mamdani won the Democratic mayoral primary by defeating former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. Earlier, US President Donald Trump called Mamdani "100% communist lunatic".
