California Governor Gavin Newsom challenged his Florida counterpart Ron DeSantis to a televised debate after the latter sent a group of migrants by plane to Martha's Vineyard. "Let's take this up & debate. I'll bring my hair gel. You bring your hairspray," Newsom tweeted to DeSantis. Earlier, DeSantis said Newsom's hair gel was "interfering with his brain function".
