The National Green Tribunal on Friday banned parking in Delhi's Sarojini Nagar market, to encourage people to park their cars at the multi-level parking lot constructed in the area. Saying it will pose a fine of ₹5,000 on the violators, the green panel further directed the North Delhi Municipal Corporation to cancel contracts of those engaged in parking business there.
