National Green Tribunal (NGT) has sought a reply from the Punjab government over the alleged noise pollution caused by a CNG pump station situated on Zirakpur-Banur road. A plea had claimed that the huge noise caused by the CNG pump station is an underestimated threat. The plea also sought the issuance of directions to the state to shift the pump.
