The key NH10 route connecting Sikkim to Siliguri via Kalimpong will shut for 9 hours every alternate day starting May 15. The 52 km Sevoke-Rangpo stretch, prone to landslides, is undergoing major repairs. NHIDCL, now in charge, aims to speed up the work, though no official detours have been announced yet.
