The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has increased the toll tax on national highways by about 5%, starting June 3, 2024. This hike will increase overall transportation costs, leading to increased Cost of Goods Sold (COGS). Companies will pass this increase on to us, which means we’ll have to pay more for food, clothing, electronics, and other everyday items.
