The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has reportedly rectified 16 out of 22 accident-prone spots, also known as 'black spots', across national highways in the Pune division. These improvements include junction redesign, crash barriers and better lighting. However, Atul Namekar from the Sinhagad Road-Warje Residents' Association said that temporary fixes are not enough.
