NHAI has created two Guinness World Records on the Bengaluru-Kadapa-Vijayawada Economic Corridor (NH-544G) by laying 28.95 lane-km and 10,675 metric tonnes of bituminous concrete continuously within 24 hours on the Vanavolu–Vankarakunta stretch. Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu hailed the feat as a proud milestone for India’s world-class highway infrastructure under Nitin Gadkari.
