The NHRC has recommended ₹10 lakh relief for the families of seven patients who died after being treated by a fake cardiologist at a hospital in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. The Commission also urged FIRs against the doctor, hospital owner, and negligent officials, and flagged Ayushman Bharat scheme misuse.
