Nifty crosses 18,700 mark for the first time in six months
The Nifty 50 Index hit the highest level in over six months and crossed the 18,700 mark during intraday trade on Wednesday. Both Sensex and Nifty advanced on Wednesday, led by consumer stocks, ahead of RBI's monetary policy decision. Britannia and Nestle India shares hit record high during intraday trade.
