Brokerage firm Nomura expects the Nifty 50 index to be in the range of 21,800-25,700 this year. The target range suggests a potential downside of 5% from current levels on the lower end and a 12% upside on the upper end. "We recommend being highly selective and avoiding richly valued stocks," Nomura's Saion Mukherjee wrote in a note.
