Nigerian troops rescued 178 people from Boko Haram captivity, of which 101 were reportedly children, in attacks that destroyed several camps of the militant group in northern Borno. Moreover, the Nigerian Air Force reportedly killed a large number of militants. On Sunday, Boko Haram distributed a video on Twitter which said Nigeria’s military had not forced it from its positions.
