A senior cleric with Nigerian terrorist group Boko Haram has confirmed the death of its leader Abubakar Shekau and urged fighters to stay loyal. The announcement was made in a video and verified by Boko Haram researchers, Reuters said. The Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) had claimed that Shekau had killed himself during a fight with its fighters.
