After a night curfew was imposed in Karnataka over rising Omicron cases, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Monday said that the decision was taken in the interest of public health. "People would have to strictly follow COVID-19 norms at tourist spots," Bommai told media persons. India has recorded 578 Omicron cases so far, out of which 31 are in Karnataka.
