Nike will lay off about 2% of its total workforce, the sportswear brand announced on Thursday. "We're not currently performing at our best, and I ultimately hold myself and my leadership team accountable," CEO John Donahoe reportedly said in an internal email. The job cuts will happen in two phases, with the first one scheduled to start Friday, reports said.
