Infosys Co-founder Nandan Nilekani committed a second multi-year grant to AI4Bharat to build foundational AI models for Indian languages. "AI4Bharat is building the infrastructure that ensures every Indian can access digital services in the language they speak," Nilekani said. AI4Bharat is a research lab at IIT Madras who has collected datasets in 22 constitutionally recognised languages.
