The CBI has deported Subhash Shankar Parab, a close aide of fugitive jeweller Nirav Modi, from Egypt and has brought him to Mumbai, said CBI officials. Parab had reportedly fled to Cairo in 2018 and was absconding ever since the ₹7,000 crore bank fraud case against Nirav came to light. He was the Deputy General Manager (Finance) at Firestar Diamond.
