Delhi government on Wednesday told Delhi High Court the 4 convicts in Nirbhaya gangrape case won't be hanged on January 22 as mercy plea has been filed. "[Execution] can only take place 14 days after...mercy plea is rejected," said an advocate appearing for Tihar jail. One of the convicts filed a mercy petition before President Ram Nath Kovind on Tuesday.
