Born on 5 September 1996, in the small village of Asankalan, located in the Panipat district of Haryana, India, Nirmal Tanwar Bhati grew up aspiring to become an athlete, displaying an early passion for sports. Starting her career from playing in village school to now leading Indian women's national volleyball team as captain, Bhati is an athlete to reckon with.
